When the summer festivities wrap up at Disneyland®, the theme parks will transform into a fall paradise sprinkled with Disney magic. If you love Halloween and everything autumn, visiting Disneyland® during Halloween time is a MUST. Can we even expect anything less from the Happiest Place on Earth? We know you can't wait for the Halloween vibes to come at the Happiest Place on Earth. Exciting news, friends! All the fun spooky activities start in late August! Halloween Time at Disneyland® runs from August 21 to October 31, 2026, featuring new outfits and décor. Enjoy "Paint the Night" and "Wondrous Journeys" August 10-20, 2026, and "World of Color – ONE" returns August 10.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse, along with friends, arrive in seasonal outfits featuring harlequin patterns and vibrant colors. Jack Skellington returns to transform the Haunted Mansion for Haunted Mansion Holiday. Experience a new gingerbread house in the ballroom, plus familiar characters like Sally, Zero, and Oogie Boogie. If you are a fan of the Tim Burton classic "The Nightmare Before Christmas", be sure to check them out!
Snap a fantastic fall photo in front of the Halloween Tree in Frontierland. Explore a pumpkin with Disney-themed carvings at the Main Street Pumpkin Festival, including a giant Mickey Mouse pumpkin. Find a new pumpkin beside the Partners Statue featuring awesome Star Wars carvings. It's gonna be a pump-tastic time at Disneyland® for y'all!
Sneaky villains are taking over Sleeping Beauty Castle, Main Street, U.S.A., "it's a small world," and the Rivers of America with bright lights for the "Halloween Screams" show every evening. You can hear characters like Maleficent and Ursula laughing in the sky with spooky songs. On certain nights, fireworks will light up the sky. If you want to hear more scary stories, Disney's Happiest Haunts Guided Tour is a fun walk through Disneyland® and California Adventure. (The tour requires a separate fee and is not included in your Disneyland® tickets)
Fall festivities are in full swing at Disney California Adventure® Park! Check out some spooktastic decor featuring Oogie Boogie outlined by a full moon, a flurry of "bats" coming from the tower of Carthay Circle Restaurant, and the Headless Horseman statue greeting people on Buena Vista Street.
Cars Land is turning into the "fa-boo-lous" Radiator Screams, featuring "car-achnids," a "pump-kin" patch, and locals in their favorite "car-stumes." Take a breather from your walk around town and enjoy a ride on Mater's Graveyard JamBOOree and Luigi's Honkin' Haul-O-Ween.
Every late afternoon, Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark takes over the Collector's Fortress in Avengers Campus. You will work with Rocket to keep scary monsters busy and save Groot. But watch out… some spooky surprises might come your way.
Bring the little ones the spirit of spooky fun! Kids who love Halloween songs and playing with Mickey Mouse will enjoy "Mickey's Trick and Treat" at the Disney Theater in Hollywood Land, from August 18.
Halloween at Disneyland® is never complete without the tasty and tricky treats and ghoul-geous Halloween-themed merchandise!
During Halfway to Halloween in April, we already got a glimpse of treats that will return this fall. Try the Oogie Boogie Lemonade from Smokejumpers Grill while you stroll through the resort. The Heatwave Pizza from Alien Pizza Planet is also an absolute fall favorite. Stay tuned for the full details on food, drinks, and fun things from Disney Eats as the season gets nearer. Your fall style can be fun and spooky or cute and ghostly. You can find many items to buy at the resort, such as hockey jerseys with a smiling Mickey pumpkin and cute mouse ears with autumn designs. We'll be updating this guide with the newest merch collection for festive fall fun at Disneyland®, so stay tuned.
Eerily adorable decorations will bring festive spirit to all the hotels of the Disneyland® Resort. New decorations inspired by Disney and Pixar's Monsters, Inc. will be at Pixar Place Hotel, along with Haunted Mansion elements at Disneyland® Hotel. The cooking teams are also preparing surprising candy displays for Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disneyland® Hotel.

At Disney's Grand Californian, Storytellers Cafe will have Mickey's Autumn Adventures for breakfast and brunch, and Clarabelle's Enchanted Halloween Dinner will be available in the evenings. At the Disneyland® Hotel, Goofy's Kitchen Celebrates Halloween will bring fun dining all day.
If you're 21 or older, you can try out the Halloween cocktail menu at Broken Spell Lounge in Disneyland® Hotel.
Disney stylists at Tenaya Stone Spa in Disney's Grand Californian can create a fantastic Halloween look for an extra fee! Rock your hair, makeup, or nails inspired by Disney characters! You can also enjoy seasonal treatments like the Wicked to the Core foot service.
Autumn decorations, themed food, and seasonal shopping in the Downtown Disney District will create a magical atmosphere. The Downtown Disney LIVE! stage will feature movie nights with beloved fall films and live performances on select evenings.
Keep an eye out for pumpkins featuring unique Disney designs across Disneyland®, California Adventure, and Downtown Disney during Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit! Grab a special activity map at shops around the resort to help with your hunt, and trade it in for a fun keepsake prize! Celebrate family and Día de los Muertos with Pixar's Coco at Plaza de la Familia, Disney California Adventure® Park, from August 21 to November 2, 2026.
Feel the music at "The Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate the Musical World of Coco!" as a group of traveling storytellers performs songs like "Remember Me" and "The World Es Mi Familia." You can also join in singing and dancing to live mariachi music at the Paradise Garden Bandstand.
As you stroll through Paradise Gardens Park, check out the colorful marigold arch, eye-catching calaca (skeleton) statues, and the memory wall where you can leave a note to remember your loved ones.
Paradise Garden Grill is adding some specialty items for the season! Savor the Chilaquiles Carnitas Torta with red chilaquiles, refried beans, avocado spread, queso fresco, pickled red onions, a fried egg, and chips. Don't miss the complete Disney Eats Foodie Guide!

A vibrant Día de los Muertos décor installation at Disneyland® near Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante is a total fall masterpiece. It displays catrinas, calacas, marigolds, and other traditional ofrenda items.
Enjoy spellbinding fun at the Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, from August 18 to October 31. Don't miss this after-hours event for all ages, with costumes, candy collecting, and shorter lines for attractions from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., plus early entry and unlimited PhotoPass downloads. Oogie Boogie Bash party requires a separate ticket and is not included in your discounted Disneyland® tickets.

"Madame Leota's Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party" brings iconic moments from the Haunted Mansion to California Adventure. At this street party, Madame Leota leads a séance with joyful ghosts and spookiness, inviting all to enjoy the fun with 999 ghosts.
California Adventure's Halloween experience includes rare Disney villains, themed treats, and trick-or-treat trails. Villains Grove showcases beloved characters like the Queen of Hearts and Dr. Facilier. Visitors will see Ichabod Crane evading the Headless Horseman. The event features attractions, delicious treats, eerie decorations, and family-friendly photo spots.
