2025 is certainly one of the brightest years for Disneyland® Resort. With the 70th Anniversary festivities spread throughout the resort, the Happiest Place on Earth is bringing out the best and most colorful events in town. Halloween at Disneyland® Resort offers spooky fun activities and experiences for a magical season. Among these vibrant events is the Plaza de la Familia.

Plaza de la Familia will be making its grand return at Disney California Adventure® from August 22 through November 2. It's a beautiful celebration of music, culture, and, of course, food! What is Plaza de la Familia?

Disneyland®'s Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure® Park is a unique and vibrant tribute to Disney and Pixar's "Coco" and the beloved spirit of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). This enchanting celebration pays homage to the enduring connections of family and showcases an array of music, food, art, and storytelling. People of Mexican heritage are known to lead cultures that celebrate Día de los Muertos.

Highlights include the captivating live performance "The Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate The Musical World of Coco!", along with engaging themed crafts and a selection of specially curated food and beverages that embody the essence of this beautiful occasion. Paradise Garden Grill Treats

  • Al Pastor Tacos: Pineapple-achiote-marinated pork with avocado spread and tomatillo salsa served with Spanish rice and refried beans topped with queso fresco

  • Plant-based Carne Asada Wet Burrito: Marinated steak tips, Spanish rice, refried beans, and avocado crema topped with salsa verde and crema.

  • Vanilla Layer Cake: Layers of multi-colored cake with cinnamon mousse and sweet cream cheese frosting.
